Northern Lake Michigan

Driving on US route 2 on the northern part of Lake Michigan and stopping at a small gas station-restaurant-carryout for a piece of hot apple pie.

Enjoying the quietness, the deserted beach, the water lapping against the shore, the sunshine, gentle breeze. I Guess just the tranquil setting.

Hmmm... This is kind of a different post... not really a specific destination... but... how can you argue with the personality of it... a quiet deserted beach... tranquility... THAT, is what it's all about... ain't it? :o) ... I like it!
