Recycled rubber RV leveling pads

by Mike K.
(PA)

Just wanted to say thanks for the great idea of cutting up a rubber barn/stall mat into smaller pieces to use as rv leveling blocks. I got my mat at Tractor Supply for $36.99 and cut it into 16 12x18 inch pieces each one a half inch thick. Cutting it was not difficult as all you need to do is cut with a razor knife about halfway through and bend material back and forth once and it seperates. In all this probably saved me at least a hundred bucks over buying pre made blocks or lumber that just splits. Thanks again for a great idea!!!!

Leveling Pads
by: Anonymous

I caught the idea from you a week back and went to the feed and grain store and got mine..... cut it and already using them in the driveway. I think I may use them during winter storage to keep the tires off the ground rather than wood.... any comments on using them that way
